Warranties

There are many important things to consider when buying a fence. One important item to be aware of are fence warranties. For example, when buying a vinyl fence, how are the panels and gates constructed and what materials are used in the manufacturing process? It's a good idea to ask for a copy of the warranty before you purchase a fence.

Here are some questions to ask:

  1. What time period is the fence covered under warranty? Many warranties are short term.
  2. Is the warranty transferable to the next owner?
  3. Does the warranty cover the labor to replace the parts?
  4. Does the warranty give the manufacturer the option of just refunding the amount of money you actually paid for the part(s) when you bought it, releasing them of all further obligations?

When choosing any vinyl fence product it is very important to investigate how long the manufacturer has been in business. Should they go out of business in the future (and this happens quite often) you will face two problems. You'll no longer have a warranty if the product fails and you may not be able to get replacement fence materials in the event the fence becomes damaged. Winter storms, trees falling and other types of accidents can cause fence damage. Or, if you'd simply like to add to a fence, you may not be able to find something that matches your existing fence material.

We have chosen manufacturers who we feel will continue to be in business for many more years to come. These manufacturers have the products that have proven to be of the best quality and to have warranties that have the consumers best interest at heart.
